Promotion
1. The ‘The Treasury Casino & Hotel Ultimate VIP Experience’ promotion (“Promotion”) will be
conducted on Treasury Casino & Hotel’s Facebook page via a 3rd party custom application.
2. The Promotion will commence at 10am Monday 1 April, 2013 and conclude at 12pm Tuesday 30 April, 2013 (“Promotion Period”). Entries received after this closing time and date will not be accepted. All times are listed in Australian Queensland Eastern Standard Time.
Entry requirements
3. To be eligible to participate in the Promotion, during the Promotion Period, a person must :
(a) be18yearsofageorolder;and
(b) Enter a valid email address via the 3rd party application on the Treasury Casino & Hotel Facebook page; and
(c) Tick the box to accept the terms and conditions of the promotion; and
(d) notbethesubjectofanexclusiondirectionoraself‐exclusionorder
pursuant to the Casino Control Act 1982 (Qld); and
(e) arenotthesubjectofaWithdrawalofLicense(WOL)fromTreasury
Casino & Hotel Brisbane or Jupiters Hotel & Casino Gold Coast; and
(f) must be a permanent resident of the State of Queensland.
People who meet the above conditions and continue to satisfy the conditions during the Promotion Period are referred to as “Eligible Entrants” and will be entitled to participate in the promotion.
Entry
4. Eligible Entrants will be able to enter the Promotion once only.
5. To enter the Promotion, Eligible Entrants must, during the Promotion Period, visit Treasury Casino & Hotel’s Facebook Page at facebook.com/treasurycasino and ‘like’ the Facebook Page to enter the Promotion application.
6. Eligible Entrants must then answer in 25 words or less “Why you are the ultimate Treasury Casino & Hotel VIP?’’ in order to enter the Promotion (“Entry”). Eligible Entrants must supply their name, a valid email address and mobile phone number.
7. All Eligible Entrants are required to tick two check boxes to agree to these conditions of entry and confirm they are 18 years and over in order for their entry to be submitted (“Valid Entry”).
8. The Promotion app mechanics and database management will be managed by the Promoter.
Prize
9. On Tuesday 30 April a representative of the Promoter will review entries and select one winner (“Winner”) by determining the most creatively written Valid Entry (“Winning Entry”).
10. The Winner will be notified via email within 24 hours of being selected and the name of the Winner will be announced on Treasury Casino & Hotel’s Facebook page once the winner has confirmed they are an Eligible Entrant and can claim the Prize.
11. The Winner will be required to present valid photo identification at Treasury Casino & Hotel entry in order to claim the Prize. In the event that the Winner cannot provide suitable identification, the Winner will forfeit their Prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
Unclaimed Prizes and Draws
12. If a Winning Entry is deemed not to comply with these conditions of entry or accept the Prize within 48 hours of being contacted, that Entry will be invalid and a new winner will be determined in accordance with Condition 9. The Promoters decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Invalid Draws/Entries
13. If an Entry is gained by means other than in accordance with these conditions of entry, the Entry may be deemed invalid.
14. If any Entry is illegible, not original, incomplete, appears to have been tampered with or is otherwise invalid in accordance with these conditions of entry, the Promoter reserves the right to refuse that Entry and deem it invalid.
The Prize
15. The Prize includes the following for the Winner and three (3) friends that are 18 years or older:
a) 4 x Parlour King Rooms at Treasury Hotel for Friday 17 May and Saturday 18 May, 2013.
b) Cooking presentation by Fat Noodle’s head chef on Saturday 18 May, 2013 at 10.45am.
c) Lunch at Fat Noodle Saturday 18 May.
d) Private Booth at The Kitty with $600 credit which can be spent on food & beverage on
Saturday 18 May.
e) Return limousine transfer to and from Treasury Casino & Hotel within Brisbane area only
(the “Prize”).
16. The Prize must be used on the date stipulated above. Prizes must be taken as offered and are
not exchangeable, transferable, and redeemable for cash. The Winner is responsible for any other charges incurred.
17. Hotel accommodation is subject to booking conditions and any additional expenses incurred are the responsibility of the individual.
18. In the event that a Prize is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a Prize of equal or greater value.
19. Total Prize Pool $9,940.
General
20. By entering this Promotion the entrant consents to Treasury Casino and Hotel entering the email address of the entrant into Treasury’s database and the Promoter may potentially use the entrants' email addresses for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid unless otherwise advised by the entrant.
21. Directors, management and employees of Echo Entertainment Group (including any related body corporate as defined in the Corporations Act 2001) or of any suppliers or agencies associated with this Promotion and their ‘immediate families’ which has the meaning given to that phrase in the Charitable and Non‐Profit Gaming Act 1999 (Qld), are not eligible to participate in this Promotion. The Echo Entertainment Group comprises, but is not limited to the businesses of The Star, Jupiters Hotel & Casino, Treasury Casino & Hotel and Jupiters Townsville.
22. Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for alternate prizes. Any tax liability or implication which attaches to a prize is the responsibility of the Eligible Entrant claiming that Prize.
23. The Promoter and Facebook are not responsible for any loss, damage or injury suffered or claimed (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss or damage, personal injury or death, and direct or indirect loss or damage due to negligence or technical or mechanical malfunction) by an Eligible Entrant in relation to entering or participating in this Promotion or taking or using the prize offered (except that which cannot be excluded by law).
24. Where that loss, damage or injury described in Condition 24 was caused by breach of these terms and conditions by the Promoter or the willful or negligent acts or omissions of the Promoter, Condition 24 does not apply with respect to the Promoter only to the extent that such loss, damage or injury was caused by the Promoter’s or Present Company’s breach, willful or negligent acts.
25. Conduct of the entire Promotion, including decisions on the eligibility of persons to enter and validity of entry and prize, shall be the responsibility of, and at the absolute discretion of, the Promoter. Continuation of the Promotion is at the Promoter’s discretion.
26. To the extent that a situation or issue arises for which these conditions of entry make no provision or in relation to which the relevant conditions of entry are unclear, the Promoter reserves the right to make a decision regarding such situation or issue which is not inconsistent with these conditions of entry.
27. While the Promoter intends to conduct the Promotion as offered, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or change the Promotion or a prize offered in the Promotion if it can no longer continue the Promotion or offer a prize due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s control.
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or change the Promotion or a Prize offered in the Promotion at any time in its sole and absolute discretion.
28. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late or non‐received entries. The Promoter does not guarantee the continuous or fault‐free operation of the entry processes, including entry validating and receipting processes, during the Promotion.
29. Any entrant who tampers, or attempts to tamper, with the entry processes or tampers, or attempts to tamper with the processes used for the draws or who submits an entry which is not valid in accordance with these terms will be subject to disqualification at the discretion of the Promoter.
30. The Winners may be asked to participate in publicity or advertising at the request of the Promoter. Participation in any such publicity or advertising is at the sole discretion of the relevant Winner. The names of the Winners will be published on the Treasury Casino & Hotel Facebook page and, as stated above; they may be published in an email sent to all Eligible Entrants following the judging.
31. Participation in the Promotion indicates acceptance of the terms and conditions governing the Promotion. These terms and conditions will be available at the Treasury Casino and Hotel’s Absolute Rewards Desk and website throughout the Promotion Period.
32. By participating in this Promotion, each entrant’s entry/entries becomes the property of the Promoter and may be used for the Promoter’s business analysis and marketing purposes in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy statement which can be viewed at
www.treasurybrisbane.com.au. Privacy law allows entrants to access their personal information held by the Promoter in certain circumstances. Failure to supply the personal information requested may result in an entry being deemed invalid.
33. This Promotion is no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Eligible Entrants understand that they are providing their information to Treasury Casino & Hotel and not to Facebook.
